Google no longer in "beta"

Even though I believe google should have exited beta stage a long time ago today they made it official that they are no longer in beta.

Now I know with a program like gmail you want to be 100% sure that it works before leaving beta it almost seems like they were just too lazy to change the images for at least the last year the program has been out.
